Monday Memento: Lake Tekapo & Mt. Cook, New Zealand

This gorgeous scene was captured at a 5-minute rest stop along the road to Hooker Valley and Mount Cook, along the shores of Lake Tekapo. The lake is fed by glacial runoff from the Southern Alps, while a fine mineral suspends in the water and gives it a brilliant turquoise color.
